How is this poplin shirt more conscious than another?
Poppy is a 100% GOTS organic cotton poplin.
The organic cotton yarn comes from Turkey, it is then transported by truck to Italy to be dyed and woven. The dyeing is done directly on the yarn, which saves water and creates a clean stripe on the front as well as the reverse (= most beautiful stripes possible).
The manufacturing is then carried out in Portugal with the same partner as for our Tony shirts with whom we have been working for 3 years.
The shiny white buttons are made from recycled milk casein.
For Poppy , we have surrounded ourselves with a new partner who is a reference of excellence in the weaving of luxury materials. In-depth work was carried out with it to obtain an exceptional signature finish, making the material crisp but soft and almost wrinkle-free.
How to take care of it?
Its maintenance is easy, you can wash your Poppy in the machine at 30 degrees and inside out. Iron with a gentle iron (2 points so 150°) or you can dry it directly on a hanger.
