Gaby is our version of a good trench coat: oversized, stylish, sublime, practical, ecological, robust, water-repellent and breathable.

A great iconic classic, but not boring. We can have fun with all these details that are anything but superfluous and make it a loved and worn piece, that our kid will one day want to steal from us.

It brings cool to classic, classic to too cool, it works in all seasons with more or less layers of clothing underneath.

In 2021, 1,420 of you answered the questionnaire to describe the trench coat of your dreams. The brief in 1 sentence? "It's the one we saw in our dreams and in the pages of vintage Special Fashion magazines with New Yorkers walking fast. Sunglasses, cap, Converse, latte optional". We're in sync, let's get to work.

What followed was 2 years of development, research and testing to offer you the best possible trench coat. The one that meets all your expectations and more.

February 2023, we open a first pre-order, and it's boiling. The trenches are made and your messages of joy from the first showers convince us to launch a production for the start of the school year.

February 2025, our Gaby trench coat is back in a new canvas and in 2 new colors, for a style that is always iconic.

All the details have been thought out and worked on: a large and easy-to-wear volume, the eureka length: 120cm in XS/S, 123cm in M/L and 126cm in XL/XXL, a really beautiful collar that can also be worn raised and closed if desired, adjustable tightening tabs at the cuffs with buttons (in milk casein), an adjustable belt with a covered buckle, a slit at the back of the trench coat to be very free in your movements but which can be closed with a button, a large flounce at the back to give volume and (a lot) style, 2 large pockets to walk around without a bag, a lining in ripstop weave which is a very resistant armored canvas, interior finishes entirely covered with bias and English seams to reinforce the important seams.

What size should I take? And what color?

All the details have been thought out and worked on: a spacious and easy-to-wear volume, the eureka length: 120cm in XS/S, 123cm in M/L and 126cm in XL/XXL.

We wanted Gaby to be “just long enough” for a crazy look, but which prevents us from tripping over it or giving the impression of having stolen a giant’s coat. It is naturally oversized, take your usual size or even a size below if you are not (yet) comfortable with oversize!

In terms of color, our beige is slightly lighter than the previous one to become an appetizing Shortcrust Pastry Beige. It is joined by an absolutely stunning Dark Olive Khaki Green. Both colors are flattering for all skin tones and we are sure you will still love it in 2083.

Attention to detail

It has a belt and tightening tabs at the wrists which allows you to style the wrists.

We added a tightening tab under the collar so you can pull it up and wear it closed on cold days. The sleeves have the volume needed to allow for thick layers without weighing down the silhouette.

The length of the Trench, above the ankle, is what elongates the silhouette and gives it the look of an essential piece.

The material is resistant but not heavy, which makes it adapt to all body types and all layers of underwear without a bunching effect.

It has a soft touch, creases little, is not fragile and protects against rain but not monsoons.

The trench coat has large pockets so you can sometimes go out without a bag and interior finishes that make it luxurious even on a hanger or coat rack.

In short, it's the timeless piece that we sometimes search for our whole lives, with the necessary touch of style that means we never get tired of it and that enhances any outfit without making us feel like we're in disguise.

How is this trench coat more conscious than another?

Disclaimer: The most responsible trench coat on the earth is the one you already have and love to wear.

As for the new trench coats, we can say that Gaby is a great option from a footprint and sustainability point of view: for the weaving and manufacturing of the Gaby material we have chosen responsible and high-quality materials, we have carried out very thorough traceability of each step, favored partners using less energy-intensive and low-polluting methods, and created a design that we will love for several years.

From the gabardine to the lining to the tailoring, we surrounded ourselves with partners specialized in outerwear with a specificity in technical clothing. We wanted to have a trench that was elegant but with the dose of technicality in the material that makes it suitable for our modern lives.

Our trench coat is made from 55% organic cotton grown in Turkey and GOTS certified, as well as 45% Biofeel polyamide. The latter is innovative because it is composed of 64% bio-sourced resources, including non-edible castor oil from India, transformed into polyamide in Italy. Biofeel polyamide stands out for its technical properties, offering an interesting alternative to traditional polyamide entirely derived from oil.

It is in Italy that the material is woven, dyed and treated with a water-repellent product without PFAS, and that we source our buttons. The latter are in eco gala and are produced from milk casein (waste from the food industry).

Our trench coat is then made in Portugal, in a factory specializing in high-end clothing, equipped with state-of-the-art automated machines to guarantee precision and quality in every detail. This factory is GOTS, SMETA, GRS and WRS certified, guaranteeing high standards in terms of environment and working conditions.

#5. Comment fonctionne la précommande ?

En choisissant la précommande, vous jouez le jeu d'une mode nouveau modèle, qui permet de ne pas surproduire et de repenser nos habitudes de consommation. Les précommandes ont une durée limitée, la réflexion ne peut donc pas durer trop longtemps. Mais si vous ratez cette précommande, no stress : il y en aura probablement une autre plus tard dans l'année ! #pressurebutnopressure.

Le trench est disponible exclusivement en précommande du samedi 8 février au dimanche 23 février minuit. La livraison est prévue fin mars 2025. Une fois votre précommande confirmée, vous suivez par e-mail les étapes de confection et d’expédition.

Quel est son prix ? Nous savons que les précommandes peuvent être frustrantes, car elles obligent à patienter un peu. Pour vous remercier de jouer le jeu, nous vous proposerons le trench à un prix "précommande" (380€), plus avantageux que le prix habituel (450€).

Les échanges et retours sont faciles et offerts. Nous produisons un petit stock supplémentaire pour les échanges si la taille ne convient pas.

Paiement en 3 x disponible via Alma. Nous ne vous encourageons pas à l'utiliser si ces pièces sont actuellement trop chères pour votre budget. En revanche nous pensons utile d’utiliser ce mode de paiement pour s’offrir une pièce Patine à la place de 2 ou 3 de fast fashion. Vous êtes prélevée en 3 ou 4 fois sur votre carte bleue et Patine prend en charge les frais. Il suffit de choisir Alma comme mode de paiement.
