Perfect proportion alert: this new little polo shirt is just long enough and just short enough to be worn tucked in or taken out. The extended tab allows it to be opened wide like a shirt at the neckline. It has that little something chic and sporty at the same time which makes it an all-season must-have. Be careful, we take a long breath and let's go: you can wear it alone, on a long-sleeved tee like a sweatshirt, on a shirt like a sweater, under a jacket, on high-waisted pants, with a skirt, on top a dress, obviously in denim, on the weekend, during the week, in zoom meetings, at the Elysée, on a fashion show, for a dinner, at the market... it goes with everything, all the time, everywhere.

The Boxy polo shirt is knitted in a thick knitWillie®, 330gr/m2 and 50% organic cotton - 50% recycled cotton. We have our striped knit knitted and then we have these polo shirts made, all in Portugal.

What size do I take?

The Boxy polo shirt is available in three sizes XS/S - M/L - XL/XXL

Take your usual size!

If you already have edition 001 of the polo shirt: it was large, for this new edition we have revised the size, you can take your usual size. + for this super boxy effect we shortened the polo shirt by 7 to 10cm. Crop just right.

Can we try it/buy it somewhere?

How is this piece eco-responsible?

The Boxy polo shirt is knitted in our knitWillie®Heavy, a thick 330gr/m2 jersey, composition 50% organic cotton - 50% recycled cotton.

The thread is Portuguese. GOTS organic cotton grew in Uganda. We have favored this cotton supplier because we are sure of its ecological and social commitment.

T-shirts and polo shirtsWillie®are made in Portugal, they have the know-how which allows them to achieve a pretty crazy quality of finish.

Our stripes are not printed: it is a mixture of colored thread, weaving.

We explain the complexity to you: you have to change the spool every 5cm, to weave and mix the colors. Complex but much higher quality guaranteed.

Continuous improvement

For this second edition of the polo shirt we have made some modifications: we have reinforced the button placket and the slits on the sides. We also lengthened the button placket to make it more graphic, the buttons are made of milk casein and engraved. And we shortened its length to give it even more style (that great Boxy effect) and easy to wear every day and with everything.

Why is it a Patina essential?

Since 2017 we have been building our ideal wardrobe together, there are of course the classics: white t-shirt, black sweatshirt, blue denim, ultra-comfortable black slim jeans, elegant and stylish trench coat.

And then there are also regularly “stronger”, more “statement” pieces, the Boxy polo shirt is one of them.

It's a top that can change an outfit that's a little too simple into a quickdraw uniform. And then, it goes with everything: a long skirt, black pants, white jeans. It is beautiful worn alone or over a long-sleeved t-shirt, unbuttoned collar and large necklace. It looks cool over a shirt like a sweater or under a denim jacket/blazer.

It is also a simple piece to maintain (key argument at Patine), 30° in the machine and just inside out, which does not require ironing if you do not have the time and which resists the years thanks to its ultra-worked finishes.
