Our advice for properly washing yourJessie
It is advisable to wait until you have worn it several times (not necessarily consecutively) before washing it. It's cowboy spirit, and it's also synonymous with saving energy and water #bravovous.
Do not use artificial softeners or bleaches - and avoid washing powders which contain them and which may affect the color of the fabric.
Ideally, if you have aJessie Medium blue, it is a detergent for dark textiles to preserve the color of the denim fabric as much as possible even if it will fade naturally over time. For your laundry, choose an Ecocert and/or Ecolabel certified product.
↳ Without machine. In your bathtub or a basin, run lukewarm water and immerse your shirt in it, inside out, immersing it completely.
Add a capful of liquid laundry detergent, make sure it mixes throughout the bath by gently swirling your shirt to distribute the detergent, and leave to soak for 15-20 minutes. For the first wash, you can add a small glass of white vinegar to fix the color.
Change the water and rinse with clean cold water. Wring yourJessiegently then put it to dry.
↳ In the machine. First of all, it's best to avoid filling your machine to the brim, as this will prevent the clothes from spinning efficiently in the machine and being properly washed/rinsed/wrung out. Wash inside out at 30°, ideal program to save energy but also so that the fibers last longer, do not weaken and do not lose their colors! To ensure a lifetime of the beautiful colors of yourJessie, we advise you not to mix it with other colors and to do laundry by color. You can wash it in a washing bag (Guppyfriend style) to avoid scratches on the snaps. Program a light spin. Avoid letting your Jessie hang around in a damp ball in the machine once washed, otherwise it will get wrinkles.
